First Car - Focus Mk2

Featured Replies

Greetings all,

Recently bought my first car. I went for a 2008 Ford Focus Titanium 1.6 MK2; Paid £3000

  • 63k on the clock
  • New pump & cam belt fitted
  • full service/MOT history
  • 2 previous owners.

n.b. Is anyone able to tell me if this mk2 is a pre-facelift or facelift model?

Evening fella and welcome, your car is a  mk2 facelift 👍

Hi welcome

HI & welcome.

As above I believe facelift. From my reading and discussions - no rubbing strips on the doors = facelift, rubbing strips on the doors = pre facelift.

Wow, that's some 1st car! My first was a 1974 Datsun 120Y, though I did get it in 1979 LOL (Yes, I'm an old man...)

  • Complete with FM/AM radio
  • Heated rear windscreen
  • Manual choke
  • Lockable fuel cap

Google image, (Camera phones had yet to be invented back when I had mine 🤣)
