F770 Dash-cam

Featured Replies

Hi all, I’m new to this site so be gentle, has anyone fitted a Thinkware F770 dash-cam to their Edge, I’m looking to find out what fuses to connect to, I have a 66 plate. Tia

Hello @Trent Edge what an excellent "How to" guide on fitting a dashcam 👍. The only slight change I'd suggest is don't stick the rear camera on the back window. On many Ford vehicles the rear screen is used as an aerial for DAB radio and fitting the camera on the glass tends to severely reduce the DAB signal.

I'd do the installation exactly as your guide, but stick the rear camera on the plastic trim panel at the top edge of the tailgate, as far back from the glass as possible. It makes no difference to what the camera is able to see and it seems to stop an problem with DAB radio signals.
