Im looking for some help with sorting a replacement headlight unit as the DRL/ Sidelight LEDs are sealed in to the unit. Looking at the part number on the back I have searched on EBay but there’s lots of variations of part numbers? I’m looking for NS HEADLIGHT GV41-13W030-GD but a breakers online say that a same number with GF is a correct fit. Does anyone know what the last letters mean?

    If the part number the breakers have is GV41-13W030-GF then yes it it is the same unit just a later revision. No actual difference to the unit you have, just slightly newer.

    Thank you. Another question is can I just do a straight swap or will it need to be programmed as I have read elsewhere something along them lines. Surely it just plugs in and recognises it and if not how would re programming work without going to a ford dealer?

    I'm not aware of the need to reprogramme the headlight unit with a like for like swap. The person who would know the answer is @iantt
