Wheel lug sizes for ford fiesta ST200

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

My brain is completely baffled, I've tried a 19mm socket lug for the wheels (as read online) and it doesn't seem to go on properly, for this reason i ordered a 19.5mm socket lug which i got today, it goes on PERFECTLY on the back 2 wheels only, on the front wheels the socket just sits at the very top of the wheel lug and doesn't actually go all the way on to get full grip? I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue but its driving my crazy as i have tried a 21mm socket and that is a bit too big and doesn't grip properly. Any help/suggestions would be great, this is such a simple task I'm not sure how its gone so wrong.

- cheers in advance

Hello Jay, I'll answer this for the second time, since my first reply have vanished.

The problem of "Swollen Nuts" has been going on for sometime now.

You will need to replace all of them once you  get them off. Use a british standard whitworth 7/16 socket (NOT AF) and you should find it's a good fit.
