is that expensive then?

around 700 quid though if its bubbling and hot instamntly the heads cracked in which case its a new engine by the sounds of it instant bubbling the heads cracked so youve been running with an issue for a while wether the water pump failed who knows it can be done diy have done 1 before and like youres it was bubbling on start up even after the head was done it was still bubbling you need a mobile mechanic to come out and give you the whole truth wether the gasket alone has gone or the heads cracked
