We sold a Ford Ka 2013 to a customer last week and she said the passenger door is not locking with the central locking. It is the basic model with wind up windows but surely the key should still lock the passenger door aswell?

 

I went up the scrappy to get her a new actuator and when I took it out I noticed there was no plugs going to this one and it was blanked off.

 

Do some of the Ford Kas not have central locking? If not how is the door locked?

Kind of an overstatement to call it 'Central Locking' on a 2 door car.

If it has manual wind-up windows then it will not have central locking on a 2013 base model. You lock the passenger door from the inside just like in the olden days 🤣

I'm assuming you're under 40 years old and have never seen a car with manual locking.

Yes, Iirc you needed to go up to an Edge version to even get the option of central locking. 

Not really necessary on a small 2 door car anyway, and if you don't have it, it can't go wrong!
