Hi all, after some advice if possible, sometimes my key fob won't unlock the car, won't open the boot, i use the blade key to open the door and put the key fob in the ignition barrel, push the start button and nothing, no ignition or anything, while the alarm is annoying everyone on the street I disconnect the battery wait a few minutes and connect it back up and the key fob works and the push button start works, have a spare key fob and that is exactly the same, both have new batteries and car battery is only 6 months old, any advice will be appreciated

Despite it being 'only' 6 months old, you need to actually test the battery with a multimeter and see what voltage it is kicking out... (Copyright @unofix)

 

Thanks for the reply, until I get in the car later and get it to a garage I don't know what it's charging at, but it's weird because it did it once about 4 years ago and was fine since then again last year and the car battery was completely dead so put new battery on and it did it about 3 months ago and been fine since until last night
