Dash Cluster Replaced

Hi all, new to the forum and hoping to get some help with a problem. I have had to change out the dash cluster on my 2013 Ford Mondeo, due to the LCD screen not working.

I have a dash cluster fitted and everything works as it should. However there is a constant pinging sound, as if my seat belt is undone. It's there the whole time the ignition is on. How can I stop this?

You can't just swap the IC it is part of the vehicle immobiliser PATS

Does the engine start ?

You would be better to get the original instrument cluster repaired by someone like @rd457

Everything starts and runs as it should. It's literally just the beeping sound that is the problem. I've red a few things about getting it calibrated etc, but wasn't sure if there was anything else I've missed.

We've had the old cluster looked at and told it was beyond repair as several different LCD screens have been tried and neither of them work in the original cluster

You need to configure replacement cluster to your vehicle's spec.

It's probably looking for something your vehicle does not have
