Mk3 Mondeo 1.8L Emission Failure

hi i'm kinda stuck my mondeo mk 1.8 16v duratec had its test yesterday and it failed on its emissions well it failed bad.

it failed on 5 things

excessive blue smoke during acceleration

carbon monoxide content at idle excessive

carbon monoxide content 2nd fast idle excessive

hydrocarbon content 2nd fast idle excessive

lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits

i'd of asked the mechanic what to do but my other half picked it up. so what work am i looking at as ive seem to think its gunna be alot of work and alot of money

    well to be fair you ned to ask the tester it could be 1 or both lambda sensor could be the cat or the cat and a sensor usually its the sensors that go ide take it in toa garage and show them the fail;ure slip[ and get there info
