morining all,

had a problem this morning on the way in to work, the display for the rev counter and speedo stopped working and went to zero for a couple of seconds and the engine managment light came on.then they came back on and went back off again, this happened a couple of time this morning in the space of 20 mins.

anyone have any ideas as to the cause of the problem??.no other warning lights on and the engine and car drove fine when it was happening...

thanks in advance for any ideas as to where to look. :)

    just a quick update on this thread.. hasnt happened since monday...touch wood...

    have since had the whole display out and checked all the connectors for corrosion, took the back off and sprayed it with a water dispersant (wd40)

    replaced everything and seems to be ok so far, went for a drive sat and all seems ok so far.

    will keep you posted if it happens again. :)

    still at least i had a look behind the display, always was the curious sort....lol
