Recently changed my Battery on my 2015 Ford Fiesta Red Edition and didn't realise about the BMS reset procedure till joined here so thanks to all!👍

    The car will automatically reset the BMS after a couple of days, regardless.

    That's not actually true in the case that a new battery has been fitted. Resetting the BMS also resets the "days in service" counter which the charging algorithm uses to adjust the charging characteristics in accordance with the batteries age. This is one of the key reasons that the BMS should not be reset if a new battery has not been installed.

    Or at the bare minimum, an existing (healthy) battery that has been full recharged.
