Hi all my son as just got a mk6 fiesta zetec, it as only been driven once since e has got it until today we took it out the drive way and the sound was like a screeching sound when the wheel was turning so we lifted car front up off the ground and it still done it but only when on full lock it sounds like it is coming from the inner o the CV arm is this something that is bad

    Sounds like a loose or worn belt to me (maybe wet)

    If the rubber CV boots have got very dry while parked up the concertinas can rub together and cause a squeaky noise when turning.  You can just wet them, or give them a very light wipe over with some sort of lubricating oil.
