Digital fuel and temperature guage

Hello, I have noticed my digital fuel guage have been playing up recently like for example I would drive the car get out when it on 238miles and the next day it would go to 280miles and today I got in and the temperature guage didn't move and once I stopped and turned the engine off then back on it went to half way. I plugged a snap on diagnostic in but showed no fault codes, any suggestions what it could be?
