My 2006 1.4 zetec climate hatch 5 door petrol has failed its mot due to corrosion of the rear axle.

i need some advice as to where I can get a decent second hand one.

I dont know if this will help or not, but ive just purchased a complete rear end for my 2016 Focus thats just hanging with rust !! You can try these people but im not sure if they have anything as old as your car. They operate out of Spain, and off course there is no salt on the roads there so everything is like new. I worked it out and it was cheaper for me to pay the £384 cost, which includes shipping to UK and import duty £110 shipping £45 tax so whole back end cost a little over £230 ! I have no affiliation with these guys, so if admin want to remove thats fine. Just trying to help out a fellow focus owner. Ohh and delivered in 5 days !!

Is it definitely the axle that's failed, not the axle mounting points?

There was basically only one axle for most Mk6 Fiesta's (2002-2008). 

Most have a fixed axle with drum brakes.

ST has a fixed rear axle with disc brakes.

And I believe the Fusion axle was different as well.
