Any idea if a 1 litre fiesta gearbox would fit a 1.4 asking for a friend, and if it does benefits and anything that would need to be done

    The Fiesta was produced for nearly 50 years, you might need to be a bit more specific.

    If it's for Mk7 Fiesta then both 1.0 & 1.4 did use the IB5 gearbox, so probably would physically fit, but the ratios would be all wrong.

    There was never a 1.0 engine fitted to Mk6.
