Need help/advice with 1.1 ti-vct 2018, 5-speed manual. 3rd gear doesn't engage. Other gears working fine. Stick just does not move from neutral towards 3rd. Just checked all linkage, cables from both end, and those tiny sliding plastic pieces and fork above gearbox, they are all ok.

Tried to manipulate gear change mechanism by hand at gearbox end but it feels like there is something inside the box preventing selector rod to slide  inside the box at 3rd gear position. Short video attached.

    These gearboxes often suffer failures. 1st and 3rd seem the most common problem.

    I guess the box is just not up to Finnish rally drivers using them daily 🤣
