Fiesta 2002 1.3 Firefly Brake Compensator

Featured Replies

My 2002 Fiesta Firefly 1.3 has a small brake fluid leak coming from the joint between cylinder shaped part between the Master Cylinder and the rear brake pipe connection. I've tried tightening the nut but there's no movement. I have been told that it is a brake compensator valve . Does anyone know of the part number or a supplier of these parts Thanks.

Have tried asking at a Ford dealer ?

There is a chance that the part might be available. If not they should at least be able to tell you the finis code.

Possibly 1469610.

Will be around £65 if you can find one in stock at a Ford dealer.  Can't see any myself from a quick online search.
