Beautiful, thank you very much

That size was standard fit on the Metal, iirc. Can't recall if that had lock stops to prevent fouling, you might get away without. I think the Mk 7.5 ST which had the same wheel/tyre combination did have them.

Not a fan of that type of wheel but painted in a black flip to purple makes them look much nicer IMHO.

Yeah they should bolt straight on when fitting new wheels especially going up or down a size I would recommend taking the car for alignment and tracking.. gives you peace of mind with tire wear. 🤙🏻

Good luck

I do like the look of it but the car is a light blue I think purple flip will be too much as my current colour lay out is blue with black trims ( basic b*tch I know)

Those wheels and that tyre size were factory fit on my 2009 Zetec-S, so 'yes' they will fit.

And Ford later revised the tyre size to 205/45/17, which will give you a much better chance of not bending the rims.  Those 17" wheels are not strong, and with the very poor state of UK roads I would suggest you keep the 16s 🙂

My son managed to bend 3 of the 17s (when on 205/40), so I'm thinking of buying some 15s for next time the tyres need replacing 😄

That's certainly a point with Fiestas of that era. I bought a 6 month old 2010 Titanium through Ford Direct and the standard 16s were bent. Dealer swapped them with another car and they were bent too!

If you going to fit them wheels be prepared to have a harsher drive and be weary about parking
too close to a kerb edge, don't think I've ever seen the type which hasn't had kerbing damage.

Don't forget any wheel changing will also affect your speedo reading!
I read on the forum showing what the alterations was but can't find it,
your speedo might read 30 but you actually going faster than the indicated
30, so think about this regarding speed cameras.

These are Factory sizes, so your speedo readings are within normal tolerance.  If you want to go at the correct speed in any car, don't use the car's speedometer 😄

I always use WAZE as my speedometer, as I drive significant yearly mileage.
