Phone connection

Featured Replies

The button in the centre of the left hand group of five on my steering wheel should connect me to my phone. However, it recently stopped working and refuses to start again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

If it were my button, I'd lightly spray some electrical cleaner in it and lightly rub with an old toothbrush. Buttons on steering wheels particularly prone to dirt/grime...

I'm not sure whether it still works on the facelift model, but there is a button test can be done to check whether any button is making contact.  Press & hold rear windscreen button while switching on the ignition.  Release the window button when you hear the beep.  Then ever button you press should make a beep if it's working.

Doesn't work on my 17 plate model Tom.

Wonder if it's worth trying some switch cleaner spray on it.

Didn't work Tom. The car's going in for wet belt change soon so I'll get them to replace the buttons at the same  time.
