Featured Replies

I'm 66 and  always had Fords ,Escort, Capri , Granada ,etc. and my last ford was a Focus and always loved them but my Wife has just Purchased a 2014 Fiesta with Only 15000 on the clock runs lovely  no road tax and good on fuel but just found out as its over 10 years old the wet cam belt needs replacing average price £1200 I also have found out the drivers side door lock has been damaged by someone trying to break in and it seems to link the key up with the ignition you have to fit  FIESTA COMPLETE VEHICLE LOCKSETProduct No. 1831492 any cheaper fixes would be appreciated

yours Hoping for any help out there

There's no specific need to change both barrels if you can put up with a separate key for the doors and the ignition.  That would make it cheaper.  Alternatively you can get the two barrels from any similar Fiesta in a scrap yard as long as they come with the keys.  The barrels themselves are quite easy to change as long as you've got the key.

Also, to add insult to injury, the tax won't be free next year, it'll be £20.
