Splitter for Ford fiesta zetec s pre facelift

Featured Replies

Anyone have any links to any side splitters and front splitters for the zetec s ordered a universal front and it doesn’t fit as the zetec front bumper has a weird shape

Some universal front splitters are sold on EBay. I have installed one of them on my 2011 Fiesta hatchback. It is only a cosmetic “appearance item” and is designed to be a multi vehicle fit component. So, how it fits and ends up looking is entirely dependent upon the individual installer. The one I purchased from Linkterest store on EBay is what I would describe as more of a “starter kit” for fabrication of a splitter than a legitimate splitter kit. As it arrived in the box it became clear that it was in need of some additional rigidity on its underside. to say it was a lot of work to install is an understatement. I would reply to any other questions you may have.

Pricey indeed! I don’t see any functional advantage to having a front splitter on the basic Fiesta. And, there’s really no overhang of the front bumper that would allow someone to use the rather puny little stabilizer struts that were included with the kit. I crafted several nylon spacers and piers to attach the reinforced splitter to the bottom edge of the facia.

They just for looks :Jumpy:

Yes. Purely cosmetic. We didn’t get the option, in the  States, of having a Fiesta ST Line version as a choice of models until very late in the model run. So, these cosmetic upgrades to get a more sporty look are fairly popular among Fiesta fans.
installing the ST rear spoiler is also very popular with basic Fiesta owners.
