Hi

Heard today a pop type sound driver side, then can now hear only inside car a slight fan type rattle and also a refrigerant cold chilling noise 
Turn fan up then down it stops then returns 

If you turn A/C off completely there’s no noise at all and fan etc is fine and blows normally with no noises at all.

Air Con works and cold still 

Got an A/C company booked for earliest Is July but was wondering if anyone knows what it could be?

 

 

 

 

Are you getting the heatwave at the moment?

If it is continuously very hot, the expansion valve might have opened past it's previous maximum and got stuck open.

Or there could be a pressure relief valve somewhere that's vented some of the gas due to very high pressure in the heat.

Yes in UK

was yesterday on the hottest day around 30 makes sense what you say, the pop I heard I thought I’d hit a tyre problem 

though it’s still chilling down 🤔 won’t use it till it’s been looked at on the 9th in case doing any damage
