Out of interest, is that a Ford dealer or independent?. What exactly are they doing for that?

Cheers pal

Just had a quote from my local Ford dealer. £1800 for wet belts change and new water pump. 2 days.

Looks as if £1700-1800 is around the bottom end of quotes from Ford dealers - we've seen some members quoted much, much more.

On the other hand, the only case I know personally who's had a belt change paid just under £1000. That was at an independent who serviced the car from new (a former Ford dealer, as it happens) using genuine parts. They had the car two days.

That's not a bad price and it's getting done over 2 days not bad I guess from what iv seen on a YouTube video half the engine comes away to do the job
