Can I program different driving modes to my 2018 Ford Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi, I’ve recently purchased a 2018 Ford Fiesta Mk8 and didn’t realize that it only came with normal and eco mode. I’m hoping to install / program different driving modes to my vehicle, such as: Sport. I’ve just got a virtual cockpit and fitted it to my Fiesta Mk8, but hate the look of the original design. I’ve seen the different designs for the variation modes and love them especially how they transfer between modes. Has anyone tried this and is it possible? Thanks in advance.

I think Bill could possibly help. He's retired now but used to do a bit of fancy programming back in the day.

Can't answer the programming question, but if you're mainly interested in the look of different screens, on my  ST:

Normal is what you show in your post

Eco is as Normal but a lighter greenish blue

Sport and Race Track mode both as pic below.

(Imo not as nice or clear as what you've replaced, but if you're happy that's fine!)

On the functional side, don't know what version you have, but on my Mk 8 140 which just had Normal and Eco, Normal felt sharper than it does in the ST, part way between Normal and Sport if you like. I'm not sure you'd gain much, even if possible.

As much as I do like the look of the original clock, the virtual cockpit in my opinion has a more detailed display. I am considering swapping back to the original clock, if I am unable to swap the display to different designs or even just permanently in sport mode. The blue is way to dark for the car imo.
