Ford Fiesta 2005 Plate Passenger Door Won’t Open From Outsid

The passenger door won’t now open from the outside, only from the inside. I note other posts about similar problems with later models suggest pressing both lock and unlock buttons at the same time. I have tried this but it doesn’t work. Is there anything else I could try ?

    Remove door casing, then handle and latch

    Check and rectify handle operation or source and fit a replacement latch (make sure it is the same part number)
