Hi, 

I get quite intense pulley noise when the A/C is engaged from the Drivers side of the engine bay, stops as soon as you turn the A/C off.
 

Can anyone help me narrow down which pulley might be the offender so I can figure out if I want to tackle it myself or not? A/C works fine.

    No.  You need to remove the belt(s) and check each pulley by hand.  We can't diagnose it over the internet.

    Is it like a  quick belt whistle when the A/C compressor engages ? Mine is doing this for a while...A/C is working fine, might just need the the belt and the pulleys replaced.
