Upgrading stereo in 2012 Zetec

Featured Replies

Good morning

I wondered if one of you lovely lot might be able to help me. I'm trying to put a touchscreen stereo in my 2012 Zetec but the stereo connections in my car don't match the upgrade stereo nor do they look like the majority of fiesta stereos I've seen online.

It has a rather weird looking (what I think is a power socket) that doesnt have a connection on the new stereo for it. Is there an adaptor that I can buy to make this work? Sorry I'm a complete novice trying to make this work on my own and I frankly don't have a clue.

I've attached some photos of the connection and the connection points on the old stereo to show what I mean.

Thanks in advance.

That looks like the USB/Aux input to me?

most aftermarket’s provide there own connections to the unit, most likely there is a converter out there somewhere, you can just leave it in place in case you ever want to return it to stock
