Intake advice/recommendations

Featured Replies

I have a 2014 Fiesta 1.25 Zetec and want to play around with it a touch. She only has 30,000 miles and I plan to keep this car for as long as I can. I've tinted the windows and now I want to do a couple of minor bits just because I love my car and I want to eek everything out of it that I can. I think I will be upgrading the wheels within the year but something I can do at home is replace the intake. I've had a look online and can't seem to find any decent ones that would fit in my engine bay. Any help or recommendations appreciated! Search "Fiesta MK7 1.25 induction kit" on Google

There's just loads coming up👍

Remember to report ALL modifications to your rip-off insurance company😉👍

There are several options on the Pumaspeed site alone.

(Sometimes, as in that case, just searching for "Fiesta Mk 7" kits might work better - it'll probably bring up kit that is headlined for the 1 .6 Zetec S but will mention 1.4 and 1.25 in the item details.)

As Dave says, it's classed as a mod by insurers. The standard set up flows plenty of air for an 82ps standard car, so unlikely to give any extra performance whatever they claim, might give more intake noise if that's what you're after.

That looks a very tidy car indeed and personally I'd just concentrate on keeping it that way.
