Backup camera on 2015 Ford Fiesta has died

My backup camera died last month - had Ford look at it and quoted over $1K to replace it.  Has anyone bought one off amazon or some other location and replaced their camera.  Most of the articles I find are about installing new ones - my Titanium came with one and with long driveway and city parking have got used to having it.  

The camera seems pretty accessible from outside hatch (mine is hatchback).  Although probably have to destroy bracket that it is mounted in to remove it.  Ideas / experience?  Thanks
