Evening fellow fiesta owners.

I'm currently having issues with my remote central locking, the remote locking system suddenly stopped working after 3 years of ownership, which has become a burden because I can also no longer open the boot door of my fiesta.

I've thought the issue would have been down to the batteries in the key fobs but after having them replaced the issue was not resolved.

I'm looking for some sort of guidance as I don't want to go poking around without knowing what I'm doing and potentially making the issue worse....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you didn't fit genuine batteries then change the batteries again first, for Energizer or Panasonic ones ,and see if that cures it.

Ebay/£land/Chinese 2032s are rubbish

If that doesn't cure it it will have to go in. Possible BCM fault

And a 2011 Fiesta is a MK7😉
