Empty sevice book - what would you do?

Fiesta - 21 plate and no stamps in the service book at all (tbh didnt notice when i purchased second hand). its currently at 38k so going in for main dealer service (it deserves it i think) - i guess they just stamp the 4 year service place. but as its first service i guess they wont stamp the first years stamp.

Most haven't come with service books for a few years so that book may not even be original.  The scheduled services should be recorded electronically in the DSR.  You can access that using the FordPass app.

They definitely shouldn't be post-stamping the book unless they have proof of it being done in previous years from the DSR.

ah ok - assuming the DSR is inbuilt into the car? - ive no idea on the service history so with no data have to say its had none.

If the original supplying dealership is still written on the numberplates, you could contact them to ask if they've serviced it.  Though they'll probably refused to tell you because of GDPR.  (Although VW were perfectly happy to provide me with the history for my Golf...)

This car may have been serviced independently, but that won't be recorded in the DSR, and if you bought from a dealer, they aren't allowed to give you any receipts from previous owner due to GDPR.
