The car is indicating that the engine coolant is too high and is putting the car into limp mode, even though I had just started the car and the engine was still cold. I have changed the sensors on the coolant temp and the cylinder head. The symptoms still persist. I have had the car plugged in for diagnosis, and it just informed me that the engine temperature was too high. 

 

Has anybody else had this issue or can point me in the right direction?

    This means that either one of the sensors is faulty and there are a few of them, or that there is a short in the wiring. A proper diagnostic tool will indicate which sensor is giving a high temperature reading so I would ask where it was diagnosed and what with?
