Fiesta Mk7 Spare Wheel Swap

Featured Replies

Hello, all. I'm new to the forum, so apologies if there's somewhere more appropriate for this.

I now drive a Mk7 Fiesta and have picked up a space saver spare wheel to replace the (incomplete) tyre repair kit that came with it. I failed to notice beforehand that the spindle to mount the foam wasn't centred for a spare, so now I'd like to fit a new spindle for a retaining bolt and find a wheel spacer to make the boot mat flush again. By my reckoning, that's three parts that should be easy enough to fit, but I can't seem to find them anywhere, at least with the dimensions specified in the part listings. Can anyone here tell me exactly what parts to buy for this? It seems unlikely that no one's done this before.

The spare sits neatly in the boot space for the most part; it just thuds a bit if I take a speed bump too fast.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
