I need help with my ford fiesta 1.3 1998

My car when i press it like 1,2 gear rides nicely i shift another gear it wont want the gas in, now i cleaned the maf sensor and now it pulls better and i didnt see that problem but now it wont idle,only idles when i have slight gas please i need help from experts

I’ve just had potentially similar. The Car wouldn’t travel above 30/35mph even with gas to the floor. It’s Always had an idle issue but this latest issue the car would stall at any chance it had without gas (turning corners or at junctions). 
 

I renewed the IACV (idle air control valve) and checked all air system for leaks (there was one) and that solved the idle issue - then it had a rev issue instead. (Revs keep climbing to peak then dropped after 10 seconds) 
 

Swapped out the MAF sensor (apparently they can be tetchy if you try clean them). Now the idle issue is back but no rev issue. But it’s not stalling ant junctions or on stationary idle without gas and it IS drivable. (However stalls more in reverse). 
 

Not sure that’s helpful, I’m still getting to the bottom of it.

I found the problem,atleast for 2 days, cracked hose that goes from oil cap to intake manifold, i replaced it car for 2 days worked perfect idle and normally,now today i rode the car i see rough idle and it was running kind of rich i smelt unburnt fuel and at low rpm it was working on like 3 cyl and higher rpm on 4,now ill replace sparkplugs and see if thats problem,sparkplugs dont even have name on the car
