Replacement Head Unit - '65 plate

Hi , 

My old dear has a 65 plate titanium with a Sony head unit. Ive seen apple carplay/android screen that looks OEM on eBay , but they don't work with the Sony's. Any recommendations please ?

    The Sony part is just a brand feature, the head units are the same

    If it's for a MK7 Fiesta it will work as the head unit will be removed anyway

    The listings all state that they don't fit the Sony's. The main unit stays, it's the display that changes.

    Has anyone upgraded their head unit who has the same original head unit as mine ?

    There are literally dozens of threads on here on similar topics, eg:

    The usual approach is to replace the entire unit with this sort of thing - there are loads of options on the likes of Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress etc
