Air filter cleaning and recharging (oiling)

Featured Replies

Fiesta 2007 1.3

Having this K&N air filter more than eight years now.

Filtering appears to be sufficient.

Before and After photographs.

After putting it on again, it needs time for oil to reach all of the gauge so that's why it doesn't seem totally red.

A new filter is around £10 change 10,000 miles? you are saving 1p per mile. oil and filter £50 is 5p per mile + tax and insurance, tyres  May buy a Moped. On the other hand my Fiesta 1.5 tdci does over 60 mpg and you're in the dry

I take your point always good to recycle when you can.

It is should to be better for enviroment, performance (little better throttle response), economy and sound (in this model perhaps no difference).
