I hope this is the right section but it is a bit confusing, anyway I think I've posted in this section before. Need the above window regulator/mechanism, the alloy frame & cable that moves the window up and down. Finding it incredible that on Ebay the items are all for 3-door mine is 5 door GF55ZFG. Can anyone point me elsewhere please? When I spent about £400 in June getting my car through it's MOT I thought I was done for a few months. This broken window mech is a disaster not for the cost but because I just cannot find one without facing hours online. Ebay do not have a filter for number of doors that I can see. It would be a miracle if I could find a dealer with the magic 4-5 door mech new is fine anything.

In the UK a 2005 Fiesta is a Mk6.

You will see that the Evanshalshaw info shows pictures of the German Fiesta, and I expect that the article was originally for the European market .

Trust me when I say that a 2005 Fiesta is a Mk6 in the UK.

All done thanks bargain at £35 for entire panel-carrier-doorcard. Next job is the N-S window instead:

1) N-S window switch does not move the window.

2) Fitted new N-S switch - no go.

3) Driver side switch DOES work the N-S window so it can't be the motor nor the regulator.

4) Hence a passenger needs the driver's consent to have the window open. Nothing wrong with that Eh?

I had a Sierra with the switches in the centre console so the passenger can open the driver's window - actually quite useful when you approach that machine at a car park barrier for a ticket!

Digressing, The local Waitrose machine is just the right height for a "normal" car window, but the oversized Chelsea Tractor drivers have to stretch down for the ticket.  You would think that Waitrose would know it's customer base !
