Fiesta Mk7 Air-Con Issues

Featured Replies

Hi All,

First time posting so apologies in advance for any faux pas...

First got the car a couple of years ago and the aircon only worked for a few weeks after we got it. I just left it as it was winter at the time and thought, ill deal with it later.

More recently had it re-gassed in July at a Kwik-Fit and asked them to give it a thorough check over and test if there were any leaks, as it hadn't worked in a while. They said it was holding pressure and there didn't seam to be any issues.

Aircon worked for about 2 weeks then boom, hot air all day long.

I've seen on a couple of other posts that it could be battery related? But not sure where to start trouble shooting.

Any advice will be welcome!

P.S. Also, does anyone have a schematic of the aircon system for a Mk7 2018 Fiesta?

Thanks!
