Fitment specs for Fiesta mk7 alloy wheels

Featured Replies

Looking at buying some aftermarket alloys.. looking at a used set would I be right ...  that a

17" 4x108 et40 7j with a center bore of 63.4mm be a direct bolt in?

Car is on 20mm spacers on rear atm 15mm front and running coilovers.. so I can raise the car if needed .. and get new spacers

Standard/Ford 7J alloys are ET 47.5, so that'll be another 7.5mm your aftermarket alloys will stick out.  Is there a specific reason you've added 15/20mm spacers, other than looks?

Depending of course on exactly what, aftermarket alloys fall into 'cheap, heavy and bend easily' or 'expensive, light, and strong'.  I wouldn't bother with the first type.

Well I like the flush look, so spacers was basically just for that and the wider stance do help with speed bumps in my area as now i can pass over them with minimal contact. There Rondell wheels, I bought them now as they was going for a fair price, there a quality wheel. With car modding it's always a game of whack a mole...so I may have to switch to 10mm spacers now or just remove 🤔.   As the car sits perfect atm.. 👌🏻

May not be ford purist taste but isn't the the point of mods.

My bro photoshopped them on the car. So should look like this

My 2p - your car looks better on the 16s.  Also with wide gaps between your new alloy's spokes, you'll be able to see the weedy brakes we all have 😄

If you live anywhere with potholes, be prepared for bent rims.  Whatever you do, get at least 205/45 and not 205/40 to give your rims a chance.

Good luck!

PS tell your bro not to give up his day job.

I appreciate that, I know everyone is different so won't hold it against you 😅, I came from the max power generation and this fiesta is my homage to that era.. so this car is being built to be quite obnoxious, as for the brakes I have a st rear axle in the shed with calipers.. a frugal pick up £100, also I am on copart constantly looking for a bumped cheap st, so nothing will remain stock accept the shell.. I know it be cheaper to buy a st but you know not many 4 doors avaliable to buy as there quite rare in the uk took me 4 months to find genuine 4dr sideskirts 😉. Just having fun with the little fiesta.

Yeah I'd go 45's too unless I really need the space .. 💪🏻

Yeah my brother not great at photoshop but he is a banker and podcaster.. I do most his graphics for his channel ... but he is trying so can't fault him 🤣
