Fuse question

Featured Replies

I have a question on whether I need the following fuses in the engine box in my Ford Fiesta 2014 TITANIUM X TDCI 1.6L Diesel:

Fuse 19: Air conditioning compressor

Fuse 21: Cooling system fan (1.6L Duratorq-TDCI)

Fuse 35: Category one alarm system

I have attached an image and labelled in red where the fuses should be in the engine box

I brought this car last week and I checked the engine fuse box and compared it to the manual and I’m confused as it says these 3 fuses in the manual, however these fuses are not in my engine box so I just want to find out whether I need those.

Thank you, but have you got an idea why I shouldn’t have fuse 21: Cooling system fan (1.6L Duratorq-TDCI) if it’s for my engine for my model (Titanium X TDCI 1.6L) and I’m abit confused on whether I should have it or not. Could you give me an explanation if possible please.

Ford use that fusebox on many different models with many different options. Over the length of the production of a given model many changes are made, equipment is added and deleted.

The Owners Handbook shows a list of what fuses 'might' be fitted in those locations. It does not mean that every available fuse space should be occupied, only that on some models it may be in use.

Have you got some sort of over heating problem, or is there something specifically not working ?
