Rough idle

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have a 2009 ford fiesta, I've just replaced the reverse light switch in hopes it will work (still doesn't) but alas, a new issue has arisen. I removed the air filter box so I could do this, and after doing so and replacing it, the engine is now idling rough, with a check engine light showing? I was wondering what the cause of this could be? I'm sure I replaced everything correctly, but will have to double check. Have I messed something up? Are there any certain things I should check first? Thanks

I'm sure if that were true then your car would be fine 🤣

Have you correctly plugged the MAF sensor back in ?

If it's a petrol there could be a vac hose disconnected somewhere.
