EAC fail display

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone help, I have just replaced the injector seals and the diesel return pipe on my 2002 Ford Fiesta 1.4TDCi. After having reassembled the engine on startup I have got an EAC Fail fault code, could this have been caused by my repair, or is it a separate problem.

I have a Tacklife OBD diagnostic interface but it doesn’t connect to the cars ECU, can anyone advise of an OBD diagnostic interface that would work on my car, at the moment I am unable to remove the fault code.

Thanks in anticipation.

Thanks Dave T70 for your help, I will give Forscan a try. Hi Dave the Forscan OBD reader arrived in the post this morning but unfortunately when I tried to download the drivers, I got a warning on the computer saying safety certificate had expired and not to use .Do you know another way to obtain the drivers or another OBD reader that would work on my car.

Thank you for all your help.
