I've not long bought my focus mk4 st line. Ive noticed the drivers side, right hand side is blanked off under the lights control. Is it possible to fit the part with the cubby door in. If it is does anyone have the part No. For the main trim and the door. Thanks

Yer money saving. Ive come to my focus from a 15 plate golf gtd. The golf had loads of places to store stuff. Under seat storage trays, cubby on right of the steering wheel and a 2 different heights for the boot floor. So looking to change the blanked off trim out and get the foam for the boot.

Ive actually messaged both of them. Top 1 with the light switch in didn't get back to me and the bottom 1 he doesn't have the door

Ahhh, that's interesting. I checked the parts catalogue earlier but it doesn't show any with a door which confused me. Makes sense now as they only show the latest part when others are superseded.

They probably phased it out to save money. I will keep an eye out for it. I use it in my golf for my inhaler. Just handy to have it to hand and out the sun.

You might need to change the whole lower panel (knee bolster) it may be different

Ford did stop fitting it.

Possible reasons: Cost, rattles, breakages.

Ford also stopped fitting the overhead sunglasses holder as well, unless you have a panoramic sunroof

Hi guys the cubby door won’t fit the facelift version as there’s a piece of metal restricting putting it in also it’s possible to retrofit the sunglasses holder you need to cut at least 9cm of the headliner and fit the new bracket and overhead light with the sunglasses holder new Kuga or the newer ranger has them if you wanted to source second hand

Mines a 2020 reg. I don't think mine has the bar across behind the dash. Will check.
