Help with B and O subwoofer

The car has B and O centre speaker and rest of the speakers but was missing the Sub in boot.

I have purchased a ford b and o Subwoofer for the boot and has a four pin plug on it, but I don’t know what to connect it to. Do I need some sort of module?

Any help would be appreciated



The B&O audio system was available in 2 different versions. With or without subwoofer.

These are different systems (different hardware and software). The B&O audio system without subwoofer does not have the connections/capability to connect and control the subwoofer.

Not sure of the date, but later cars had the subwoofer (where fitted) moved into the boot sidewall, rather than the wheel well.

Also some early non-B&O cars had the centre dash speaker.
