Hello everybody, my name is Gareth and I'm from Buckley in North Wales and I'm currently joining this forum whilst the missus is watching the X-Factor!!

I'v recently purchased a Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDDi on a 51 plate, after driving an 1989 (F reg) Audi 80 for the last 5 years or so, dont get me wrong, that car might have been old but it was in mint condition and it never let me down, but along came the wife, then a kiddie and the blessed Audi had to go (No power steering and poor boot space, was the wife's excuse!!) So I decided on the Mondeo... boot space, ACRES!! was the wife's main reason for getting it, but for me I'v always liked fords, my 1st car was an X reg metalic gold Escort ghia :) and a good, solid diesel Mondeo was always high on my wish list.

Recently I'v been having problems, which has led me to this website, so I'm now here to read and learn as much as I can regarding the Ford Mondeo. Many thanks.
