rupert123 Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 I shuttle between India and UK because of my work. I own a Ford Ikon in India and I have found that it is consuming more fuel. It's just one year old, but I have to keep it idle for three months everytime when I come back to UK. Once I am back in India I start off on it after servicing. But keeping it idle for three months and using for next three months affect its mileage? As far as I know, there is no problem to my car as I take good care of maintenance.
