Good day all you Ford owners out there. My name is Kenneth and i am from South Africa. I am looking at getting a 1980 Escort MK2 1600 Sport and was hoping to get to know people out there that know these cars and have the knowledge that i would need to get this thing the way i want.

I am 33 and love older cars as the new cars dont have any soul or spirit.

Hope to meet a lot of people and get great tips and advice.

if you get a moment join photobucket and upload some picture's of your motor when you get it,

you can then link them to this forum,

once uploaded go to Album, below or above each picture is an Image URL copy this URL and paste it in to your posts

once pasted in the post remove the .img from either side of the link then its job done mate,

Hello and welcome to the forum :) I have to say great choice on the car, I love the old Escorts - they are so mean. The MK2 had a great shape and is a real example of a classic Ford.
