Guide To Fitting Rear Parking Sensors Focus Mk2.5

Featured Replies

Seeing that I found this guide so useful, I've decided to add a couple of images of how I managed to pinpoint the drilling positions.

I used a scope attached to the phone, but you could use an inspection mirror or even 2 phones on video call.

I used 2 small but strong magnets. I cleaned off the inside of the bumper near where I expected the circles to be. I also removed the 2 bumper lights.

I held one magnet on the inside and maneuvered the outside one until it stuck to the inside one. I then maneuvered the outside one (which also moved the inside one) until inside one was in the provided sensor circle. I then marked the outside with a bridawl.

Hopefully it helps someone. PS I know the circle is very faint in the image, but they were also very faint in reality.
