New Fiesta rear light removal

:) Anyone know how to remove rear light unit on latest (2009) Fiesta? I want to access reversing lights to wire in parking sensors. Handbook says remove the two screws - but it still feels as though something is holding it. Incidently, fitting the sensors was a piece of cake. £20 on Ebay. Fitted some on my last car, they are great.
