I am considering getting a new Ford Fiesta with the 1.4 diesel engine. Does anyone here own this car/have driven this car that can give me their thoughts about it?!

Is it a good engine and would you recommend it?

    I woud go for the 1.6 diesel. It is much faster and has the same fuel consumption and CO2 values

    Hi, dont bother I have had one since Nov 07 and had nothing but trouble with it!!!!!!!!

    It stinks of diesel and runs terrible Dealer cant rectify

    I agree with Shab here--go for the 1.6 as it won't cost you any more to run it and it'll probably be more economical anyway.
